those are two errors in the function sendMail()

This is just assigning LOG_TO_SDOUT to 1, the existing code is correct. I'm able to run two instances without any issues. You may want to post in the VMTN forums and provide a bit more details about your run.

When the following command is executed I get the same error on the recent version of the script:

There is no any simultaneous sessions. Only one instance of the script is executed at the same time.
