Unfortunately same response with the latest 8/27 update and Firefox 68.0.2.

Went back and did some more tinkering and found the following errors in the console:
TypeError: a is undefined
Content Security Policy: The page's settings blocked the loading of a resource at eval ("script-src").

Looks like this may be a Tampermonkey bug versus a Slack Night Mode bug. Found three fixes:
- Use Greasemonkey instead of Tampermonkey
- Enable advanced config mode in Tampermonkey and set "Add Tampermonkey to the sites content CSP" in the Experimental section to Yes
- Disable CSP by opening about:config and setting
security.csp.enableto False
Considering this issue closed.
