If you are using Prosit locally, please see how to get MSP files with the local server version here:
https://github.com/kusterlab/prosit#example
If you are using the online Prosit web service (www.proteomicsdb.org/prosit/), please select the .MSP format before submitting the task.
If you are looking for the code doing the transformation, have a look here:
https://github.com/kusterlab/prosit/blob/master/prosit/converters/msp.py
