I see, the CTM is never considered during the course of scanning a keyword, and is only applied to the final selection as a whole. Also, we are using whatever transform was the CTM when the selection started, neglecting any changes to the CTM between that and finalizing the selection.
The selection really only compares two states, taking the difference to be the size and applies the initial transform to that rectangle.
I think the Selection class needs some modification overall, as you may have noticed it is also not possible to select from multiple rows accurately.
