I'm getting this error when I run the command git submodule update --init --recursive

fatal: could not create work tree dir 'wavedata': Permission denied
fatal: clone of '[email protected]:kujason/wavedata.git' into submodule path 'wavedata' failed

and I'm getting the below error when i run the same command with sudo:

Cloning into 'wavedata'...
Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
fatal: clone of '[email protected]:kujason/wavedata.git' into submodule path 'wavedata' failed

wavedata folder is not being created. Please help.
