You are probably exceeding the memory available on your computer.  Not sure 
about the negative array size thing, but could be because memory is getting 
corrupted when it runs out.

You are using 17.8 gigs of memory for one of those matrices.  Then to do 
anything useful you will need 3 or 4 times that. Which is a bit much for your 
standard computer.  I'm going to close this ticket, but if your computer has 80 
or 90 gigs of RAM, feel free to open it again.
