Hello, please see README:
Please report all bugs to the issue tracker, but don't request new features unless you have a patch for it. This is a small personal project and I don't plan to spend much more time on it. I will gladly merge your patches if they look reasonable.
If someone writes a patch, I'll happily merge it.

Can you create a new tag?
from gkeyring.
I will, very soon. If you can test the new code before I tag a new version, that would be very welcome :-)

I tested the new features:
- Lock and unlock: It works.
- delete option: It works.
- Output attribute names: It works.
- Search items by name: It only searchs by exact name and only works for stored notes. Is that correct?
from gkeyring.
No wildcards are supported at the moment, so yes, only exact name searches are supported. What do you mean by "stored notes only"? You can only search for items that are stored in the keyring, where else would you like to search?

I'm only unable to search when I use --name.

Hmm, I can search for Google Chrome passwords using --name just fine. I can also search for them using --id or -p. I'm not sure where the problem is. You can try to experiment with --type option. (In my case, all three type values yield the same results).

I used -o name to figure out what could be wrong. I was typing:
python2 gkeyring.py --name 192.168.0.1
But I should be typing:
python2 gkeyring.py --name http://192.168.0.1/Docsis_system.asp
I thought the seahorse application (the one from the screenshot) interface was showing the --name under bold face, but the --name was shown in another place. My mistake.
--name is working for me.

Interesting, in my Seahorse the top line equals --name. But great that it works. I'll publish a new gkeyring version soon.
