It's a shame that it can't work with mouse events fallback.

Do you want to try to add pointer events support? The code already supports a couple of different input methods, so it should handle a third one.

I don't have WP device myself, so it might be a while before I have a chance to work on this.

I have a Lumia 920 with IE 10 and can add support for Pointer Events as soon as I'm back at my laptop.

Pointer Events support both moyse and touch (as well as other kinds of input), so I will probably just use Pointer Events if supported, and Mouse/Touch events otherwise.

Sorry, totally forgot about this. :( On the other hand, Microsoft have added Touch Events support to the latest update of IE.

Works fine for my needs in IE Mobile 10 on WP 8.0.
