To clarify, Kloudless does not provide cloud storage itself. Kloudless provides a single cloud storage API that abstracts other cloud storage APIs, including OneDrive, so that your application can integrate with all of them with a single implementation.
The steps you have outlined with OneDrive are possible with the Kloudless File Explorer and Storage API. File metadata returned from the File Explorer contains a unique ID. The bearer token corresponding to the user's Kloudless account can also be returned with the File Explorer's retrieve_token configuration option. This information can be stored by your application. The Storage API can then be accessed at a later time to download the file based on its ID (docs).
