[daily build] Capacitor_SMD 3d shape wrong orientation. about kicad-packages3d HOT 6 CLOSED

I checked some of the footprints in the current master against the 3d models in the current master. They seem to be ok. Are you sure you use both the footprint and 3d model libs with the same version?

If you had kicad nightlies installed for some time, it might still use the old github plugin libs. (The fp-lib-table is not updated when you update kicad.)

The electrolytic caps are rotated, its on my todo list

I looked at CP_Elec10x10mm and did not notice that they are rotated by 180 degree. (I just looked if the pads are aligned correctly. Did not notice that the minus mark is where the silk plus mark is.)

OP even gave that information. (I was clearly not fully awake when i checked it.)

I erase both fp-lib-table and sym-lib-table each day after my daily update to avoid problems (already experienced in the past ;-) ).
It's rotated like in the picture @Shackmeister posted.
