Hi @wbprime,

To correctly run the test, you need to be running the fake-latency.c++ program which listens for connections on port 9999 and then forwards them to port 10000 while faking high network latency. Showing how the protocols perform under high latency is the point of the test. :) If you use the runtest.sh script it should set this up automatically.

Closing because this is working as intended. Admittedly the code could probably be designed to be cleaner and clearer, though.
