Encoding error on macOS about hpi HOT 4 CLOSED

Hi! Looks odd. Can you test the reddit json file with file -I? I think it checks the encoding on osx.

Another thing to try -- could you test it directly with rexport: https://github.com/karlicoss/rexport#using-data ? It's a level of indirection less and might help to nail down the problem.

file -I returns /Users/mtvogel/Documents/PythonScripts/dal_exporters/rexport-master/exports/export-1594656482.json: text/plain; charset=utf-8 and running rexport directly returns the contents of the json file just fine. Seems like it's an issue with how HPI interacts with rexport. Should I open an issue there?

I'll close it since it's stale and there've been so many various fixes since that possible that the issue resolved itself.
