Okay, from what I can tell this happens because the extension is forcing the image to fill the canvas without adjusting the aspect ratio. So if the space the image is occupying don't happen to have the same aspect ratio as the image, it will get warped. You can try to Ctrl+Scroll and zoom in and out if you can't see this effect on your side.
