I've seen this behavior as well, but I think it is localized to the machine on which you developed the framework due to some Xcode magic. I'm going to close this issue for now, but if you can reproduce this on a machine other than the one you've developed the framework on please reopen this issue.

i have experienced this issue as well, and it caused me to give my source code to someone i didn't intend to. major bummer! i gave him nothing but the framework, and he put it into his app, on his machine that never had a copy of my source code, and was able to step into my code in the debugger. how is this possible?

ok, i found that settings Generate Debug Symbols to NO in the static library target squashes this behavior. might be a good idea to add this to the guide.
