I have heard about this a few times now. Maybe I am wrong but, is not asmjs intended for low level languages? I mean, we want to use garbage collection, and not to use tag pointers ourselves.. Lisp is also dynamic!

We could generate asmjs compatible code in some few cases where type declarations are good enough. But I think we do not want to reimplement what Javascript already provide much better we can do it.

As far as I remember, asmjs is intended to use with statically typed languages. I suppose it to be not very useful in Common Lisp implementation. Not very large amount of lisp code could be translated into statically typed js; it could be only several low-level functions that wouldn't grant any noticeable speedup.

ok, it would only be a support if an existing common lisp implementation would be cross compiled to js.
There's no sense in support for asm.js in jscl. Will close the issue.
