Right, you can't do it easily for variadic functions. Your last approach is the right one. Have a look to +,- and other functions defined in boot.lisp. However, it is far from ideal. Another option is to define a `binary-<' or similar, and then use reduce. But I don't know if every primitive varadic operator is "reducible".

It would be great if we find a general way to define real functions for a general primitive and then include a step in the bootstrap to generate them automatically. I think it is not possible but, at least, a easier way to do it than the current one.

Okay then. For now I'll just define a helper macro for defining comparison functions, as at least those are similar enough to each other to be handled the same way. Thanks
