nativeSupport: false seems to have fixed it, maybe if i do some browser detection with php could add nativeSupport for IE and Firefox? Hmmm.

I missed you generating this issue... Not sure an issue though. Maybe more of a support request, which is what we the jPlayer Google Group for:

You also appear to have closed the issue... Anyway, I found this under unread and I'm looking at it now...
I know your problem... It is fixed in the latest patch 1.0.0e. The original problem was due to issuing stop commands to jPlayer when the browser supported HTML5 and the audio was not actually setup or playing. My original 1.0.0 release would queue the command, which is why you experienced tracks playing and then stopping. Safari 4 and Chrome 4 would play MP3 natively in the browser, which is why it only happened with these browsers.
It was an issue after all ;)
