@vaidik at the moment only python 2.7 and 3.3 are supported.
Unluckily, we had to choose between supporting python 3.3 or python 2.6. It's extremely hard (I'd say impossible) to support both 2.6 and 3.x with the same codebase.
It should not be too hard to make our code compatible with 2.6, but you may want to fork and maintain a separate tree.

Hmm. Nah I am just working on a project where I have to decide if I want to support 2.6 or not. And my project depends on this package as well. Take a look and share thoughts please: http://github.com/vaidik/sherlock

BTW, I am sure you guys have looked into supporting 2.6. But for the sake of being sure, I'll just give it a shot sometime soon and see if something can be done.
Thanks for the quick response.

@vaidik thanks a lot, if you can look into 2.6 support it would be great! BTW, I've seen your project, which looks kinda cool. I've seen you plan to support gevent, this is one of the things I have planned to test thoroughly with our client. Since we just use urllib3 it should work flawlessly, but we need to make sure that is the case.
