In this case, I would consider this ticket as closed. One can expect "real" applications to use if __name__ == '__main__':.

Hi @MShekow,

Thank you for opening an issue. Could you please provide a minimal example that I can use to replicate the issue?

from mac_notifications import client

client.create_notification(title="Meeting starts now!", subtitle="Team Standup")

Seems the problem goes away once I add if __name__ == '__main__':

Yes this is a known limit. It is because the notifications spawns as a subprocess, and if you don't add the main check, it would spawn infinite of them.
