Could you try with the branch lowercase?

Sorry, that did not do the trick: still getting the same error.
(I did verify that I am on the lowercase branch).

What's the output of :version, :scriptnames and :echo &rtp?
Could you share your whole Vim config?
Are you able to call the function manually (:call miniSnip#trigger())?

Thank you for looking into this.

I am attaching a file with the output of all commands, and .vimrc is also appended.

Let's try explicitly (e.g. at the end of vimrc) sourcing the file with :so ~/.vim/bundle/miniSnip/autoload/miniSnip.vim

This seems a bit strange to me.

I did what you suggested and it worked.

Then I commented that line out, quit vim, and restarted. It still worked.

I tested in a number of different tmux sessions, and there was only one where it was broken; I killed that tmux pane and opened a new one, and it worked.

Now, there is only one way I can break it, and that is to switch to the lowercase branch. Otherwise, it seems to work fine now on my mac.

Before I brought this question up I did try quitting and restarting tmux sessions and still got the error.

The only thing I can think of to explain this is that maybe something got initialized when I called the plugin script manually?

To be sure, may you reboot the machine and check if the problem still occurs then?
If it wont happen again, then we can only assume it was caused by some "cosmic will"

Yeah, rebooted, and it still works. Sigh. I'm convinced there is an explanation for this. But not worth obsessing over.

Thanks again for all your help. I am enjoying this tool!

If the problem doesn't repeat, I'm gonna close the issue :)
