Agree with all 3.
We built our own color picker plugin for the JD Builder release and will be implementing that one in there. That works very and has many good options as you suggested above.

You can easily remove the color from the color picker. See the screenshot.

thanks, I would never of found that. It just comes across as the area where you can see a sample of your colour. Unless that is just me lol.
can you put the ban Icon over the top?
