It would be great to have country wise trends.
Whenever user changes the country save the value (in shared preference) and fetch trends for it. This way when user will open app again he/she will be able to see trends of his/her country and at the same time can change it again if desired.
We will be getting trends of our desired country unless we change it again.

This one's making good progress and should be available in the next release (v2.4.0) if things go to plan.
