Hi,

If you want to keep everything in one src directory then just add the following

sourceSets {
    main {
        java {
            srcDirs = ['src']
        }
        resources {
            srcDirs = ['src']
        }
    }
}

VAADIN/gwt-unitCache is just generated by the widgetset compiler so future compilations would be faster. It is not needed by the widgetset in any other way and can be removed what packaging for instance.

from gradle-vaadin-plugin.

Ok Thanks that worked!

But what is the difference between my old sourceSets definition?
I think it is the same in the background?

sourceSets {
    main {
        java {
            srcDir 'src/'
        }
        resources {
            srcDir 'src/'
        }
    }
}

from gradle-vaadin-plugin.

using srcDir 'src/' will add a src dir to the source sets instread of replacing it. Effectivly that is the same as

sourceSets {
    main {
        java {
            srcDirs = ['src/main/java', 'src']
        }
        resources {
            srcDirs = ['src/main/resources', 'src']
        }
    }
}

The plugin will generate the source files and widgetset into the first source directory it finds, so in your case it ended up in 'src/main/resources'

from gradle-vaadin-plugin.
