Pass arguments to widgetset compile task about gradle-vaadin-plugin HOT 3 CLOSED

I agree, passing parameters to the JVM which runs the widgetset compiler would be a good feature to have.

But until there is one, a workaround for now is giving Gradle itself more heap space. You can do that by defining the environment variable GRADLE_OPTS with the -Xmx parameter.

Example:
GRADLE_OPTS="-Xmx1024m -Xms256m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m"

Fixed this so you can add your own JVM args to the widgetset compiler using the following option:

vaadin.gwt.jvmArgs = ['-Xmx1024m', '-Xms256m', '-XX:maxPermSize=512m']

Will be available since 0.3.5.

Got some problems on Mac OS with maxPermSize. With M in uppercase, got it right.
