Regarding the home page after today's meeting, @zohairmamdani is currently almost finished with it and will create a branch to push his changes to. Meanwhile, @ipark604 worked on designing the footer and navbar.

In addition, on our meeting at 11/14/23, we have decided that the color scheme would be predominantly black/white alongside another color.

Today, I've met with @zohairmamdani and @ipark604 remotely regarding the progress they are making.

@zohairmamdani needed help with using Next.js's router to redirect users to the authentication page while on the homepage. After a couple of lines of code, the user is successfully redirected to the authentication page using a button and Next.js's router.

@ipark604 requested a code review on his current progress, which is the light mode toggler. There were many unnecessary files and packages to remove. Moreover, many modified files needed a code cleanup. For a more detailed overview, see #16.

Last night, @zohairmamdani needed help with designing the homepage. So, this morning we met and made some changes with the CSS files and other minor changes. Moreover, we did some code review. We mainly had trouble with adapting @ipark604's CSS with @zohairmamdani's homepage design, so we decided to completely override the latter's CSS with the former's. That way, we do not have to deal with merge conflicts.

In addition, the design is not very mobile-friendly as of now. This is something that we will plan to work on in the future.
