Yeah, this was one of the early issues actually (#15). The offline rendering was one approach. There was another fix that you can use today (#20).
Run grip like this grip --user klmr --pass <github-password> to use your credentials and increase your local API limit. I also created #46 to document this feature and #48 to improve this experience.

Ah, thanks a lot for the prompt reply. I feel a bit silly now, I searched the issues beforehand and couldn’t find anything containing “API”, but repeating the same search now it immediately lists the relevant hits.
