Combine features of NamedQuery and Get about sqlx HOT 4 CLOSED

In the meantime, you can combine named queries w/ Get by using BindStruct:

sql, args, err := db.BindStruct("SELECT etc FROM soforth WHERE yadda yadda", myStruct)
// handle errors
db.Get(des, sql, args)

sqlx exposes a lot more than sql does, so it'd be trivial to write your own GetNamedQuery; it just wouldn't be as convenient :(

For anyone else reading, I had to add an ellipsis in the db.Get call, or I'd get an error about sending an []interface{} when an interface{} was expected. I could be misunderstanding the issue but this worked for me:

sql, args, err := db.BindStruct("SELECT etc FROM soforth WHERE yadda yadda", myStruct)
// handle errors
db.Get(des, sql, args...)

Ah yes, args is a []interace{}, as it is the actual ordered list of fields in myStruct corresponding to their order in the named query in BindStruct.

This is now also easy to do using NamedStmt, eg:

stmt, err := db.PrepareNamed("select x from y where foo=:bar")
// error checking
stmt.Get(&dest, src)

I think I prefer this avenue as the NamedStmt can handle all of the other types of query/execing as well.
