Hi @parveen-oodles, that is a good point. I think that there are situations where both options would be beneficial. Having the linking models stored in the parent model collection simplifies code and I believe is more efficient in situations where there are not too many relationships. However it would be good to have an option to store the linking models in their own collection in the case where there are many related documents in order to reduce the document size. I will look into adding this option for future versions

Hi @parveen-oodles, thanks for checking. That particular point is correct. When config.embedAssociations is set to true there are fewer collections compared to when it is false. This is due to the linking collections that are created when it is false. For instance, if user and group have a MANY_MANY relationship, then the extra collection user_group will be created when config.embedAssociations is false.

Please let me know if there are any other points that you feel are incorrect.
