Does anyone have any ideas how we could patch this now, so we're not getting warnings in Django 2.1 (and more) until 3.0 comes out?

I've still got this issue in 0.9.0

Django is probably warning that the option is taken at all. However, it is now optional, and won't break when 3.0 comes out, which is what the warning is about.

The option cannot be removed completely because that would completely break older versions that do pass it in.
