I think this might be related to this issue angular/angular#18680 which is fixed in Angular 5.0.5, but the generated ionic 3 still depends on 5.0.1 . If i upgrade my local generated package.json to 5.0.5, then this issue seems to go away

I get a pattern validation issue with email as login (pattern of login's jhipster back do not accept @)

@herisson-88 I believe this is caused by jhipster/generator-jhipster#6923. The next release of JHipster should fix that.

I tried changing the starter for ionic-jhipster-starter to use the latest commit (https://github.com/ionic-team/starters/commits - 3cf7b83afdb44f179e02fbeb02ca9241a9759a60), but that gives me Angular 5.0.3. If I manually upgrade to 5.0.5, it gets past this error, but it doesn't fully succeed. Will revisit once ionic-team/starters supports 5.0.5.

- Are you sure you added CORS information in the correct part of `application.yml`? You might look at the [`application-dev.yml` template](https://github.com/jhipster/generator-jhipster/blob/main/generators/server/templates/src/main/resources/config/application-dev.yml.ejs#L292) to see where it should be.
