There is a known issue (which is best left outside of my plugin to resolve) that the kepub reader will open on a different page if the margins are not specified inside the ePub file to be 0. I have not had success with setting margins to 0, the same thing still happens to me, but other people have reported success. Try that and see if it works for you. If not, I'll have to see if I can determine what else may be at play here. It's possible that it's related to the lack of the Kobo-specific JavaScript, which was discussed and discarded as not something I can do in issue #7.

I'll have a look at this. But I think the point is that there is no problem with my original epubs nor with my "official" Kobo kepubs...
(by the way, I put the slider in the margin settings all to the left)

Yes, I agree that's an issue, however this plugin enables access to a renderer that end users are not supposed to have direct access to, using files and methods that are not supportable by Kobo. I will fix it if I can, it also happens to me and annoys me on a regular basis, but without the JavaScript file that I can't distribute it appears that any fix will be unreliable. I'll have to see if I can determine what else may be going on here.

Also, setting margins to the left on the device is not the same as changing the CSS in the book itself. That's the issue, the book itself has to have the CSS changes made.
