Indeed, you're right. It's looking for .pln elements after comments and variables fit that bill. I was only trying to make the comments disappear properly when toggled off :( hehe

I'll see if I can think of a fix for this.

Isn't that just handled by the inline display:none being toggled via JavaScript by $('span.com').toggle();?

I don't see how pre .com + .pln affects the comments at all?

That's what it looks like without it ^. Comments automatically have an empty inserted after them for some reason. If you don't set them to not display then it has a massive gap there.

Then how about just setting white-space: normal; on them?
