Thanks for this feature request. Its a neat feature to implement, however, we are currently focussed on bug fixes and getting the plugin to a well-maintained state. In order to favor that, we will need some time to look into this and don't have any time estimates as of now. We will keep this issue updated as we make progress and have a better response.

Any chance this could get some attention?
We need to have our (Windows) build instances joined to AD, so we would also like to use an ASG with a warm pool. But as long as the plugin terminates instances instead of just triggering a scale-in we cannot do that.
