Support Jenkins LTS version about docker-plugin HOT 15 CLOSED

It's been bumped mostly as the older Jenkins' didn't work compiling with JDK8, so it shouldn't have to move any further..

You're referring to https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-22347 ? It's included in 1.554.1 which is scheduled to be released today. I don't know how this version dependency is managed, but I hope it's possible to specify both 1.557 and 1.554.1 as supported?

I checked the plugin list again today (running LTS 1.554.1), and it was in the list, and installed successfully! So I'm closing this issue (don't know if you actually did anything to make this happen :P).

Sorry about this, I just realized only version 0.3 is available for the LTS version, and it has problems like #4. Can you see if it's possible to make the latest version available?

I too we love 1.554.2 to be supported if at all possible. If there are some specific patches required, maybe upstream can have them backported to the LTS version if they are trivial enough.

Seems to build in 1.8 against 1.554, so I've changed the POM to that.

I'll roll a release when I'm not firewalled off from release repositories..

Hey, thanks for taking care of this, but the plugin page still states Required Core 1.557 :(

I think it's because you require jenkins-core 1.557. I can't reopen this issue, do you want me to open a new one?

According to @magnayn , the POM has been updated but a new release of the plugin needs to be pushed to the Jenkins plugin repository. Once done, I guess the 1.557 requirement will disappear in favor of 1.554 :)

The org.jenkins-ci.plugins:plugin dep is 1.554, but the org.jenkins-ci.main:jenkins-core dep is still 1.557

I guess this isn't a huge issue anymore, since the next LTS is scheduled for wednesday next week and will be based on version 1.565 according to http://jenkins-ci.org/stable-rc
