Has there been any update on this ? It been two years since the last comment , i am trying to setup jenkins for govcloud ecr deployment and ran into this. What are the alternatives ?

because this is hard-coded: https://github.com/jenkinsci/aws-credentials-plugin/blob/master/src/main/java/com/cloudbees/jenkins/plugins/awscredentials/AWSCredentialsImpl.java#L231
I can submit a fix if you guys think this will be good.

Has there been a status update on this? I am receiving the error:
These credentials are NOT valid: "AWS was not able to validate the provided access credentials (Service: AmazonEC2; Status Code: 401; Error Code: AuthFailure; Request ID: XXXX)"
