The hard part is testing; we can only test it when actually releasing 😓
I am sadly aware of this, but I will try my best to figure out what paths the task expects so it can find the assets.
The documentation is my friend 😁

Would it be okay if I gave this a shot and move the azure pipeline file to a .ci folder like the other repos have it, just while I am at it?

It shouldn't be that hard now that I got the environment variables working. The logs in my last comment show the path Azure made and it should be working with some small changes.
