Been in contact with Ennergizer and Ichika devs on simkl discord to try and figure this out but we cannot seem to find the error from the jelly logs "Debug Logging on", told me to open a issue here so reopening this one.
From Ichika:
Looks like it ignores response from Simkl GetHistoryFromFileName.GetFromFile method for the file .......put file name....
because item.IsSeries or item.Type == BaseItemKind.Episode are false
but in logs it shows as no errors and nothing was marked as watched on simkl
from jellyfin-plugin-simkl.
