Hi @furrykitsune and @Dhizaes, thanks for reporting.
I can confirm the issue on Fedora 39 (Gnome 45). Though, I believe it's an issue of Gnome Shell 45 (in Wayland), rather than an issue of Hidamari.
For Gnome, please consider trying gnome-ext-hanabi instead. It should be way more compatible with Gnome than Hidamari which depends on x11 behavior (that will eventually break in Wayland).
