中國是一個禮儀之邦，自古以來，講究一個待客之道，以盛行待賓客，俯身側耳以示賓至如歸。相對於西方對自我的強調，東方的文化強調的卻是對自我的淡化。我們對於自己緘默不談，是因爲對於他人的禮遇與認可，才是一場溝通的核心。對比於表達，我們更喜歡傾聽。
