Hello!

This isn't exactly a bug, but I can see how it's confusing. The issue is that a PushManager stops trying to take notifications from the public queue (pushManager.getQueue()) when it is shut down. Without the delay, you're shutting the PushManager down before it even opens a connection, so it never even has a chance to take a notification from the queue.

The more reliable thing to do here would be to monitor the queue and wait for your notification to be taken from the queue. Once that happens, Pushy will keep trying to send the notification before it actually shuts down.

I don't think there's really anything to "fix" here, so I'm going to close this issue. Please feel free to post here if you think we're missing something, though!
