### Emscripten
To build Janet for the web via
@link[https://kripken.github.io/emscripten-site/][Emscripten], make sure you
have @code[emcc] installed and on your path. On a Linux or macOS system, use
@code[make emscripten] to build @code[janet.js] and @code[janet.wasm] - both are
needed to run Janet in a browser or in Node.js. The JavaScript build is what
runs the REPL on the main website, but really serves mainly as a proof of
concept. Janet will run slower in a browser. Building with Emscripten on Windows
is currently unsupported.

May be this can just be removed.

There's a discussion item regarding make emscripten now. Perhaps if that gets some kind of clarification / response, it would make it clearer whether it makes sense to create a PR to remove the section mentioned in the previous comment.

In 408b7b2 the docs in question were removed.
