Huh.. I had the impression that this was an issue already. Either way, +1, I'd like this feature very much.

thanks for the request. just to confirm: this is about being able to backup and restore the application's data to the sd card? rather than being able to export the data to any particular format?

great. I've updated the title just to clarify that.
this is a really good idea. and would actually be incredibly useful to me while developing the app, so I'll hopefully get round to it fairly soon.
