Generate suggestions and copy them to clipboard about aqp-finder HOT 12 CLOSED

I didn't think it was possible to paste into chat. Is there a plugin that enables that already? If not I'll need to make sure it's allowed before I try and add that functionality.

Seems like it's only possible when the development plugin is turned on but yes, the functionality is there.

Confirmed with the RuneLite devs that paste-to-chat isn't allowed as it's a form of autotyping.

The plugin already generates a suggestion (mostly spaces with maybe 1 other character). Are you looking for it to generate actual words/ phrases to type in front of the 'W'?

I've deliberately not done that as it would require hooking into an existing text-generator in a non-standard way or writing my own. Either of which would be a significant undertaking compared to the rest of the plugin.

Either actual words/phrases (and I understand why this would be a massive undertaking) or just gibberish, like if you had your cat walk on the keyboard and it just so accidentally matched up the W.

I could do the gibberish one without too much difficulty. However, I decided against it at first since I don't want it to accidentally generate offensive words and print them in chat (however unlikely this would be).

I could maybe get around that by limiting the character set it can choose from. Would that be good enough?

I can't really estimate time. I'm just doing this for fun and it might take an extra week for RuneLite to approve the update after I submit it anyway. Now that the update is live this is the first thing I'll look at adding.

All good, as for RuneLite approving the update it's not really an issue per say as I compile it from source (obviously not everyone does this, so I totally understand waiting for approval).

I didn't like the limited random character generator idea so I made an overlay that dynamically updates as text is typed into chat when a "q p" is available.

This can be used to match the W after typing random characters yourself or even full words/ sentences.
