I'm not sure what could be wrong here. The guess_year flag has been applied, so it should work, right?

nice, thanks for the pr! I'll check it out.
There are a bunch of cases where the year guessing is not as smart as I'd like it to be :D it's more or less this issue: jakopako/goskyr#264 when the first date in a list is more than -1 days from now the algorithm assumes its year is this_year+1. And since in the case of chorus the list starts in January this is exactly what happens.
