I think the error message is trivial.
Do you have JAVA_HOME envvar set? Also, seee the last PR.

Sorry my bad, it worked when I tried it again. Must been a problem between keyboard and brain. Thanks for the quick reply

In my case, the PR caused issues with single and multiple JDKs (fallback), reverting the pr locally solved it for me on a Debian based system.
