Ohh how do I make the standalone JAR ?

Mine isn't catching any pokemon either. Tried using the old version and new version and different gps locations. If it's working for you can you provide the lat/long you're using to test with? I'm in one of the most popular spots in the city and haven't gotten anything yet. In person there I catch them constantly.

Hmmm, I don't know what happened but I did catch pokemon with the script but, when I logged in with my phone, my character was still level (I did the tutorial before lauching the script...), any ideas about what I'm missing ?

It's also releasing pokemons when higher CP is caught.

Any location in Paris is working.

I was having the same problem on my PC, when I ran it on my laptop it started catching pokemon.
Only differences are the JAVA versions, latest on my PC and build 1.8.0_73-b02 on my laptop.

Found one reason that causes this: Being logged in twice on the same account will break finding Pokemon.

Could you please make sure the app is off on your phone/tablet and check if it works then and this was also the problem for you?

Reason 2 could be that you use a brand new account, that hasn't done the tutorial yet (pick starter pokemon, etc).

I've found a solution, please confirm.

Uninstall the 64 bit version of java, and try running again. I've done this twice to confirm and after you uninstall 64 bit java, it starts catching pokemon.

Under "Add or remove Programs" (I'm assuming Windows), there's a 64 bit entry, and a 32 bit entry, try uninstalling the 64 bit entry.

looks like java it self having problem with it.
i can't download 32 bit version of Java, 52 MB file ends download early at 17 MB.
Unfortunately i don't have seperated ones, it shows just Java (Win 10)

So i have a mac running win 10 bootcamp, with java version 1.7.0_25-b16, did the job.
Caught magnemite!

UPDATE: Strange thing happening is when i run the code, it catches the pokemon ASAP, but just once.
Then continue to loot pokestops T_T

Can this be a problem in walking speed ? I noticed higher walking speeds is more pokestops, less pokemon and vice versa.

I have the same problem.

I even used the coordinates of a psyduck, with an other Psyduck, a Slowpoke and 2 Staryu really close. (using a Live map)
but it just is only getting those Pokestops..

Finding a similar problem where pokemon are completely ignored but pokestops are working.

hmm... odd thing... i shut it down, waited 20min, log in with app and it showed i had a a few new pokemon, so it must be catching them, just not showing it...

but it skips any i already have... i want it to catch EVERYTHING for the points, then ill evolve them for more

It picks all up that it can find. When autotransfer=true in the config it drops lower levelled duplicates. Set that to false to not drop them.

I had the same problem on both my macs, and my PC.

I uninstalled java on both and downloaded jdk-7u5 x64 for mac os. Everything runs as intended now. Catching lots of pokemon.

I can catch pokemon on my Intel PCs, not on my AMD (just goes through pokestops nonstop), tried x86 and x64 Java versions. If it doesn't work just try running it on another computer.

If you're finding the Pokemon but not catching them, make sure you have transfer set to true in the config. It defaults to false. No Pokemon will be caught if you're at maximum capacity.

i think the problem might come from accounts, I have 2 accounts running (both google) but one of them is not catching any pokemon while the other has no problem.

FWIW - I had this problem, restarted a few times, went and did something else...then when I came back and restarted, it started catching like crazy. I'd be surprised if this was a bug in the code and not just weird server issues.

I modified the code to print out the pokemon everytime it runs processMapObjects function , the code like:

Hey guys, just my 5c.

I was having this problem yesterday, since my GPS Coords were in a busy area I decided to try somewhere more "empty". Worked like a charm.

It can be a lot of things, but here's two that I think that maybe are the problem.

1. There's really no pokemons around your gps coordinates, so there's nothing to catch.
2. There's an algoritm behind the bot strategy, maybe placing it in a diferent location can get you diferent results.

My bot was running around and collecting pokestops for a solid 40m, with NO POKEMONS catches. I changed location and now looks like I'm getting attacked by pokemonstersss, catchin them all !

EDIT1: Got past the PTC login right now, and everything is working fine. Still waiting for the next release with #52 on it so I can test! :D

I was initially catching pokemon at first but when I stopped and changed over to drop_items=false it stopped catching them. I switched back to drop_items=true and it started catching again - which doesn't make sense according to the code... I waited a day and put myself in Central Park. I'm catching them left and right now. (Actually I would say I'm capturing them too fast. Surely they can tell I can't catch them that fast from their side. Seems obvious to put a wait timer in there after catching...)

If you think you should be catching them left and right also, try checking out https://pokevision.com and see what's in your area. Chances are the bot doesn't actually have anything to catch in its path.

I had to enable transfering pokemon in order for it to start catching it was at the pokemon limit

Closing this as I haven't heard about this for a few days and for most people is probably related to 0 pokeballs, or 250/250 pokemon (or the new account without starter pokemon) and this is unrelated to this bot

I left the bot for 16 hours, with room for pokemons, pokeballs, superballs but when i checked, the pokemon count was 0/0. I'm using version 0.50 I picked a starter pokemon and the only "weird thing" is I didn't chose a team, I will and reopen the bot in an hour

Then your settings are weird. Default settings would never throw your starter Pokemon away, yet you have 0/0 instead of 1/250

Please retry with version 0.5.1
