Foam: current best practice is 2-inch rigid polystyrene insulation foam:

Using this rigid foam with a good thickness removes the necessity for carbon fiber sheet.

The rods I used in the previous build were 15mm carbon fiber from Rockwest Composites (pretty much any 15mm rods will work, and that's a common size because it's the standard for camera rails):

However, I no longer use this! I've moved to 20mm bamboo stakes! I'll put up a link shortly

Does the CAD file work OK with 20mm bamboo stakes, or does it need modified?
