IronTooch

I'm just a man, standing in front of a console, begging it to Lint.

I love all sorts of technology, but I'd be lying if I said that one particular technology doesn't have a special place in my heart...

Ansible

List of great things I'd love to develop / add with my huge abudance of free time (in no particular order):

  • Contribute to ansible-lint and add flag to get raw counts of warnings / failures, even on success
  • Contribute to pip3 and add "Get latest version number of package"
  • Contribute to ansible and add an option to shell/command to just PRINT THE OUTPUT. Seriously, why isn't this a feature?
  • Contribute to ansible and make a module for "Pull latest release from Github"
  • Contribute to ansible and clear up / Amend Composable to be able to add regular strings to compose command for inventory plugins
  • Contribute to ansible and add "print output" and "register output" to shell and command modules
  • Contribute to ansible and add "check" module to just get a boolean if something is in / matches command output
  • Contribute to ansible file lookup plugin and add update for remote source
  • Contribute to ansible uri module and add jquery seek to response so that register has value wanted
  • Contribue to Ansible's community.general.proxmox module and add a setting to use IP addresses instead of hostnames for hosts
  • Contribute to shields.io and fix the Ansible Galaxy shields / add new shields for Ansible
  • Make frontend for Step CA (Medium-Step) that has an API layer and a front-end (Django/Flask + Some-API-layer (Probably FastAPI Falcon / Molten / Restful))
  • Make API frontend for CoreDNS to add / change records
  • Make new Ansible-Lint and YamlLint Github action that isn't hugely broken and runs in reasonable timeβ„’. Fix mine (probably)
  • Make a new self-hosted calendar app with a Python or C# backend, to get away from PHP apps. Include ALL THE SPECS haha.
  • Contribute to (or otherwise make sane) the Bitwarden API and/or docs
  • Finish my HomeLab crazy galaxy project. Come up with some sane-ish deployment order
  • Make a bookmarking self-hosted solution that isn't awful
  • Finish my Bluebook Citationer project
  • Reddit bulk block users based on community affiliations tool
