I am using ocLazyLoad in this v1 app, and I bet that's the problem due to local http requests not having CORS support. I'm working to strip out that and see if that fixes anything.

I removed all lazy loading from the local device, but still get the same error. The app hasn't loaded enough to make any requests from the dataservice, so I'm pretty sure this is the WKWebView failing to initialize for some reason.
Any ideas?

Missed that this was deprecated, that i was using the wrong repo to report in. I'm actually using this one: ionic-team/cordova-plugin-ionic-webview#17
