Thankyou for the response. Yes, I've tested all the HelloWord varieties on the testnet. They are all precompiled. I want to put a brand new Plutus contract on the testnet. I've tested it on the Plutus Playground. How do I implement a NEW contract on the testnet?

You need to compile the contract and write to plutus file as the exercise states in Compile helloworld.hs section.

In https://github.com/input-output-hk/Alonzo-testnet/blob/main/resources/plutus-sources/plutus-helloworld/src/Cardano/PlutusExample/HelloWorld.hs#L74 you can find a serialized plutus script called helloWorldSerialised. This a serialized value of helloWorldScript.

cabal run plutus-helloworld -- 1 helloworld2.plutus runs https://github.com/input-output-hk/Alonzo-testnet/blob/main/resources/plutus-sources/plutus-helloworld/app/plutus-helloworld.hs#L22 which generates a plutus file called helloworld2.plutus. You can see that it uses helloWorldSerialised, so it should be replaced with your serialized contract.
